A young man went abroad two years after marriage and told his father about his desire for business. When the father agreed, he left his pregnant wife in the care of his parents and went into business. He earned a lot of money by working hard abroad. After 17 years of earning money, there was satisfaction and a desire to return home. He wrote a letter to his wife informing her to come and boarded the ship.
He found a man in the ship who was sad. When Seth asked the reason for his sadness, he said that knowledge is not valued in this country. I came here to sell the source of knowledge but no one is willing to take it. Seth thought I made a lot of money in this country. This is my karma bhoomi. It must be valued. He expressed his desire to buy the source of knowledge. That person said- The price of each of my knowledge sources is 500 gold coins.
The deal seemed expensive to Seth but he gave 500 coins to keep the value of Karmabhoomi. The person gave the first formula of knowledge- to think for two minutes before doing any work. Seth wrote the formula in his book. Arrived at his town at night after a journey of several days. He thought that I have returned home after so many years, why not secretly go straight to my wife without giving any news and give her a surprise gift.
After gesturing to the doorkeepers of the house to remain silent, he went straight to his wife’s room and seeing the view there, the ground under her feet slipped. A young man was sleeping next to his wife on the bed. I started thinking in extreme anger that I kept worrying about it even in foreign countries and he is here with other men. I will not leave them both alive. He drew his sword in anger. He was about to strike when he remembered the knowledge source he had received from 500 Ashrafis – to think for two minutes before doing anything. Paused to think. Pulled back the sword then hit a pot.
When the pot fell, the wife fell asleep. As soon as her eyes fell on her husband, she became happy and said- life was gold without you. I am the only one who knows how to spend so many years waiting. Seth was angry to see the man sleeping on the bed. The wife asked the young man to pick up- son wake up. Your father has come. As soon as the young man got up and bowed to his father, his forehead turban fell off. Her long hair fell out.
Seth’s wife said- Swami this is your daughter. Without the father, its value would not be inflamed, so I have nurtured and nurtured it like a son since childhood. Hearing this, tears flowed from Seth’s eyes. Hugging his wife and daughter, he began to think that if I had not adopted that Gyansutra today, how useless it would have been in a hurry. My innocent family would have been wiped out by my own hands.
This formula of knowledge seemed expensive to me that day, but for such a formula, 500 Ashrafis are very few. Knowledge is precious.
The gist of this story is that two minutes of life can save you from sorrows and bring you happiness. They are two minutes of anger.
The same message is given in Bhagwat. It has been said that if your work harms someone, postpone that work for a day. If there is benevolence, do it immediately so that the idea of benevolence does not change.
